Actall has designed and installed RTLS for architecturally dense, complex physical environments since 1997. Their ACTALL ATLAS platform (successor to PALS 9000) combines long-range 900 MHz and shorter-range 2.4 GHz radio with the PALS range of infrared and ultrasonic technologies, using RSSI-based zonal location to work reliably through concrete, drywall, and signal-interfering medical equipment. Product lines include ATLAS Sentry (zonal RTLS for secure environments), ATLAS Escort (coordinate-based location integrating with Bosch Security Escort hardware), and HubSens (a software layer normalizing data from RTLS, perimeter sensors, and legacy security infrastructure). They focus on corrections, mental health, mainstream medical, education, and manufacturing facilities, supporting tracking, duress/staff safety, and operational workflow use cases.
