RTLSWorld is free for buyers to use. Some of our revenue comes from RTLS vendors, and here's exactly how.

What's paid

Vendors can pay to be marked Featured in the directory. A Featured listing gets a visible border and a "Featured" badge on its tile, may appear in a more prominent position in the directory, and always carries a "Paid placement" label. Hover or tap the badge to see this disclosure.

That's the extent of what payment affects.

What's never paid

These stay the same for every vendor, Featured or not:

• Accuracy of listed specifications. Technology, accuracy figures, industries served, and use cases are checked against a vendor's own published data. Paying customers don't get different treatment here.
• Solution Finder results. Your shortlist comes from matching your answers against vendor attributes. Featured status isn't a scoring factor.
• Editorial and Knowledge Base content. Our comparison guides and technology explainers are written independently of vendor relationships.
• Search and filter results. Filtering by technology, industry, or use case returns vendors that match, in no sponsored order beyond what's explicitly marked Featured.

Outbound links

Links from vendor tiles and profiles to a vendor's own website carry the appropriate search-engine markup (nofollow or sponsored, depending on the listing) in line with standard advertising disclosure practice. That's a technical and legal detail, not something that changes what you see as a visitor.
